Photographing families is so much fun for me.  I love to see the bond that mothers and fathers have with their children, the way the kids eyes light up when you talk to them and get to know them better as you are asking about their favorite things, and just getting the know the family in general.  

I've know the mother of this family for a while now as we have grown up together, but have had fun getting to know her daughter and husband (and her better) through the past sessions that we've had together.  They are such a sweet loving family and I truly have so much fun with them. 

It turned out to be a chilly morning the day that we met for this session, despite the few days before when it was so warm.  However, we still had a lot of fun.  Kristen you have one beautiful little girl, and she is so much fun to be around.

I love these two kids, as if they were my own. I have enjoyed watching them grow, and so happy that I was able to find their mother on Facebook to be able to get back in touch with her, it had been way too long since we talked. Post 1 - Spring Mini-Sessions, Rockingham, NC

The other weekend I spent the day in Rockingham catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. I had so much fun getting to meet all the little cute kids and most of all, having every one of them making me laugh the way they did.
