Happy 1st Birthday | Personal Posting

Yesterday was a happy but bittersweet day for me as we celebrated our little girl's first birthday.  Bittersweet in knowing that her baby stages are slowly going to be a distant memory, but also happy in watching her grow.  Happy in seeing the love that her brother has for her grow each and every day, but also bittersweet in knowing that the "sibling fights" will soon be starting.  (I just pray that they have a bond like my brother and I have, despite the "sibling fights" we use to have....sorry for all those headaches we must have given to you mama.)

Lexi.....We hope that you had a wonderful birthday yesterday and can't wait to celebrate it this weekend.  Mama, Daddy and Zak love you very much.

Catching up on some posts......Welcome Baby M | South Carolina Newborn Photographer

As I was going through the blog I realized that I had not put a blog post up about the arrival of sweet baby M.  So here is another catch up post from his session.  

Welcome sweet baby M.  He gave me a work out through the session, but he is such a sweet baby.

Don't everyone get upset with the picture below.  No I'm not saying a newborn is the devil (because we all know that they aren't, they are in fact angels from God above)....however this picture is to show the family's love for the hometown high school. 

Baby M's family went to Clinton High School, home of the Red Devils, and this is a picture to show their support for the hometown team.  Maybe one day he will grow up and play sports for the hometown team, along with his cousin.

In January I had the pleasure of doing photos for my sweet cousin who was awaiting the arrival of her first baby and who was so excited to welcome a baby girl in the following weeks.  When I got the message that their sweet baby had made the arrival, I was shocked to find out instead of a baby girl they received a baby boy.

The other weekend I had a wash tub session with Mr. P, which was so much fun.  When I got back to the office and started going through the pictures from the session I found myself sitting there laughing at some of the outtakes.  Here are some of the pictures from his session.

Update on Amanda Benton Photography

As some of you may already know, I have been out on maternity leave the past two months as we recently had a new addition to our family.  I am now back and ready to start taking pictures for my wonderful clients again.

I love doing cake smash sessions with little ones, they are so much fun not only watching them smash into the cake but watching them figuring out what they are suppose to do with the cake as well. 

A few weeks ago I went and took pictures of a sweet little girl.  I can't believe how much she has grown over the past year.  I have had the honor of photographing her several times over the past year (at the end you will see a comparison of photos) and have loved every single session that we have done with her. 

She is such a cutie, and I look forward to photographing many more memories for her and her family.
